We are currently working on a project entitled "Who's Who, A Study of Biography" which is one of the tasks of the TEA Texas Performance Standards Project.  This study will allow students to learn about famous people and how they used their gifts and talents to overcome challenges and become successful.

Hemphill Elementary GT students in grades 2 & 3 attended the Imagination Fair at SFA in Nacogdoches on October 16. They told stories to students from other schools in the East Texas area. They also solved a problem that was presented to them on the day of the Imagination Fair.
